It is only possible to cancel a subscription if you have a PRO plan, i.e. if you have accessed the free trial of the PRO plan or the PRO plan itself.
In this case, you must have received a confirmation email from the App Store, Google Play Store or Stripe. You will not see the option to cancel a subscription if you have the 8fit FREE plan. Please note that the FREE plan of the app is not a free trial of the PRO version.
To cancel iOS trials and subscriptions (App Store)
If you have an iOS (iphone or ipad) device and started a subscription through the 8fit app, then your subscription is managed by Apple directly. This means you need to request the cancelation through your Apple Store/iTunes:
1. Go to "Settings" on your phone (not on the 8fit app).
2. Go to 'iTunes and App Store'.
3. Select your Apple ID
4. Select "View Apple ID".
5. Enter your Apple ID password
6. Select the subscription you want to cancel
To cancel Android subscriptions (Google Play Store)
If you have an Android device and started a subscription directly through the 8fit app, then your subscription is managed by Google Play. Please follow the steps below:
1. Open the application
2. Go to your "Profile" screen.
3. Tap on the "Settings" icon (⚙) in the upper right corner.
4. Tap on "Subscription".
5. Tap on "Cancel 8fit Pro".
6. Tap on "No, cancel my subscription".
To cancel Stripe subscriptions (directly through our website)
If you have started a trial through one of our partners or through a special promotion you received by email, then we manage your subscription directly through the paying platform Stripe. There are 2 ways to cancel your subscription:
I. To cancel Stripe subscriptions via the app:
1. Open the app
2. Go to the "Profile" screen.
3. Tap on the "Settings" icon (⚙) in the upper right corner.
4. Tap on "Subscription".
5. Tap on "Cancel 8fit Pro".
6. Tap on "No, cancel my subscription".
II. To cancel Stripe subscriptions via our website:
1. Log in to the 8fit web
2. Locate 'Manage subscription'.
3. Click on 'Stop auto-renewal'.
This will turn off the auto-renewal of your subscription. You will still have access to 8fit Pro until the subscription end date.
Please note that deleting the application will not cancel your subscription. Please be sure to cancel the subscription following the instructions above to avoid any unwanted charges or contact our support team for further assistance.
