We collaborate with our colleagues from various countries and backgrounds in order to try and find foods that are found globally, however, we understand that there still may be foods that we miss. If there is a specific meal and/or ingredient that you enjoy, please let us know and we will share your feedback with the team.
What can I do in the mean time?
Did you know that you can see alternative foods for most of the ingredients underneath the ingredient name? You can replace most vegetables with other vegetables which are available in your region, as they're rather low in calories. Just be careful with the starchy ones (like potatoes, carrots, pumpkin, beets, parsnip, peas and corn) unless a recipe asks for them. You can also interchange most of the fruits as this doesn't really have a big impact on the calories in your meal plan. Nuts and seeds can be replaced with any other nut, seed or even peanuts - just use the same weight.
