Spot reduction, or losing fat in a specifically targeted area, is unfortunately not possible, as the body gains or loses body fat overall all together, with a percentage of it that's distributed all around. The good news is that instead, everything gets better together, all around bit by bit.
Exercise helps with this by burning extra calories and boosting metabolism to burn more fat 24 hours a day.
1. Here at 8fit we recommend that you do at least 4 workouts sessions a week to get the best results. If you feel you can do another workout, please do, just ensure that you don’t compromise your form whilst doing so, and ensure that you rest once a week to help your muscles recover and get stronger.
2. Nutrition counts for 80% of your results, so try to follow our meals: you can choose your meal plans in the Meals screen (the one with the avocado), or read our free nutrition guide for great tips.
3. Remember that drinking water is very important. You should aim to drink around 2 liters per day.
4. Try to get 7-9 hours of sleep per night. Insufficient sleep can increase hunger, appetite, and stress hormones all while sabotaging your motivation to make healthy choices.
